The Fine Arts Association is pleased to announce that submissions for the Affordable Art Show 2025 will open this November.

This year’s show is exclusively open to FAA members, and we’re excited to share that the submission fee has been waived.

Submissions can be received at the Fine Arts Gallery on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st of November.

Terms and Conditions

THE AFFORDABLE ART SHOW   2025 

Wednesday 26th November 2025  – Friday 9th January 2026 

RULES AND CONDITIONS                                         

  1. The exhibition is only open to paid up members of the Fine Arts Association (FAA). 
  2. Non-members wishing to take part can become members at the Fine Arts Gallery on entry. 
  3. This year the entrance fee will waived.  Submissions will be on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st November at the Fine Arts Gallery (10am-2pm and 3pm -6pm). The opening will be on Tuesday 25th November at 6pm.  
  4. Works can be in any medium including drawings, photographs and digital work and should not exceed 1m in height by 1m in width. Sculptures which will also be accepted must not exceed 1m in any dimension. 
  5. Reproductions of original work will be accepted. 
  6. All works should be ready for hanging. 
  7. Unframed work will also be accepted to display in a browser (limited space available).  
  8. All works must have a sale price which should not exceed £500. This should be affixed to the back of the work together with the artist’s name, title and medium. 
  9. All entries must be accompanied with an entry form which will be available at the Fine arts Gallery. 
  10. Artists may submit up to 2 large works or 5 smaller ones, the same applies to sculpture. * If works are sold they may be replaced by new work. 
  11. In the event of extra space being available, the hanging committee may decide, at its discretion, to exhibit more than the stipulated number of artworks per artist. 
  12. The artist consents that their entries can be documented online. 
  13. The FAA shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused. Artist are therefore advised to arrange proper insurance cover. 
  14. The FAA will handle all sales of entries. A 20% commission will be charged. 
  15. By submitting a work(s) when you are the artist of such works(s), you confirm that you hold all intellectual property rights in the work(s) and that you have obtained any third party consents required for the use of third party owned material contained in the works. 
  16. The FAA reserves the right to deny admission or withdraw a Work(s) from the exhibition if for any reason the Work(s), or any circumstances surrounding the display of the Work(s) appears the FAA to expose it to potential or actual risk of legal proceedings or enforcement including, without limitation, the alleged breach of third party intellectual property rights. 
  17. The FAA shall have no liability to you whatsoever for any loss of business or profits, loss or damage to reputation, or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of whatever nature, howsoever caused, whether occurring in contact, tort (including negligence) or otherwise. 
  18. Artists must ensure that submitted works conform to all health and safety standards and regulations. 
  19. All unsold entries must be collected at the end of the exhibition and no later than Tuesday 13th January 2025. 
  20. The FAA reserves the right to right to amend or revise these terms at any
